Spiritual direction is a prayerful relationship that helps you recognize God's presence and action in your life, grow in your relationship with Christ, and respond more freely to His invitations. Rooted in the Catholic spiritual tradition and the wisdom of St. Ignatius of Loyola, spiritual direction offers a space for prayerful reflection, discernment, and growth in faith.

What Is Spiritual Direction?

Spiritual direction, as a particular ministry, is a form of pastoral care that is individualized for the person offered in a one-on-one encounter. In this setting, a trained mentor, guided by the Holy Spirit, helps direct the individual within the context of their everyday life, supporting one's growth in holiness through teaching, co-discernment, and ongoing contemplative accompaniment for one’s deeper discovery through prayer and discerning who they are, whose they are, and how and where they are called.​

 

My Approach

My approach is grounded in Catholic spirituality and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola. It brings together contemplative listening, instruction in Ignatian spirituality and discernment, and personal accompaniment.

Our meetings provide an opportunity to reflect on your prayer and spiritual experience, explore questions of faith, and discern how God may be inviting you to grow. My goal is to accompany you as you deepen your relationship with Christ and grow in freedom, faithfulness, and love.
 

What to Expect

Spiritual direction is a personal and ongoing process shaped by your relationship with God and the circumstances of your life.

Our meetings may include:

• Prayer and reflection: Attending to your experience of God in prayer and daily life.

• Ignatian discernment: Learning to recognize and understand movements within your spiritual life.

• Spiritual growth: Exploring questions of faith, vocation, freedom, and your response to Christ.

• Personal accompaniment: Making space to listen, reflect, and discern without pressure or judgment.

Spiritual direction ordinarily takes place in regular individual meetings. The frequency and practical arrangements can be discussed when we begin.

Spiritual Direction Fees

Individual Spiritual Direction — $120 per session

Sessions are approximately 60 minutes.
